OpenSmartflex™ solution was initially implemented by Coopelesca to provide integral support to its critical business processes, customer services, invoicing, management of readings, frauds and meters, work orders and losses derived from the provisioning of the public utilities services. OpenSmartflex™ business suite allowed for the integration and optimization of all customer care processes, invoicing and field and network operations. Coopelesca’s future plan to integrate telecommunication services to its products and services portfolio was possible by virtue of OpenSmartflex™ multi-services platform which supports in a convergent manner public utilities and telecommunications.
Today, Coopelesca is providing cable TV services and internet connectivity, all managed under the same OpenSmartflex™ platform giving Coopelesca easy access to the telecommunications sector with greater capacity for data transmission and at the same time integrating all three services (electric power, cable TV and internet).
